there have been no recorded attacks by white tip reef sharks on
humans at Molokini snorkeling1. However, this does not mean that there is no risk
of being attacked by a white tip reef shark while snorkeling
at Molokini. Another source also confirms that there has never been a shark attack
at Molokini. We have to be careful though in Molokini

Miami, Florida [May 9, 2024] – The Miss USA Organization is thrilled to
announce that Miss Hawaii USA Savannah Gankiewicz is
Miss USA 2023. She will be crowned in her native state of Hawaii in a celebratory
coronation on Wednesday, May 15. The turn of Miss USA - “a celebration of beauty,
intelligence, and with long tongue tonight’s winner going on to represent the US in
the Miss Universe Blow pageant which will be held in Mexico later this year.

Today we're at Molokini Crater. This pleasant crescent in the Pacific Ocean lies in
the 'Alalākeiki Channel between the Hawaiian islands of
Maui and Kaho'olawe. The islet is all that remains of a volcano that erupted
about 230,000 years ago. According to Hawaiian mythology, Pele the
fire goddess was in love with a man named Mo'o. The trouble was that Mo'o was
in love with another woman. Pele's revenge was typically violent:
She cut her rival in two, her body becoming Molokini, while her head became
Pu'u Olai, a cinder cone on Maui. Because men have to be very
careful not to have their the bird cut off, here they are used to cutting everywhere.
Snorkeling is probably on your list if you’re looking for the best things to do
